Jimbo Wood, MS, PT
Jimbo Wood is an avid runner and the owner of Horizon Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Inc. in Athens, Georgia.
A 1997 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BSEd in Exercise and Sports Science, Wood worked with UGA’s Sports Medicine Department prior to receiving his physical therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001.
A large portion of his clinical practice is devoted to running injuries and running form analysis, utilizing slow-motion video in the evaluation and treatment of his running population.
Wood has been educating clinicians and runners for years on proper running form, footwear and prevention of running-related injuries.
